Midland Heart is one of the UK’s largest housing associations, providing a range of quality, affordable housing options for local people.
It owns and manages around 35,000 homes across the region, works with 51 local authorities and serves more than 70,000 tenants. Its work spans general housing, retirement accommodation and independent living, all underpinned by a commitment to offering safe, well-managed homes. It also builds new properties for social housing and affordable rent, and supports residents who want to move into home ownership.
THE PROJECT
With such a wide range of residents to serve and multiple sites to maintain, Midland Heart operates in an environment where clear communication, compliance and consistency are essential.
Following a competitive tender process, we were appointed as Midland Heart’s signage contractor on a five-year agreement, a significant commitment that reflects the scale and complexity of the requirement.
Our project brief covers a wide range of ongoing signage needs across multiple sites, including safety and compliance signage for existing residential properties, wayfinding and marketing signage, and all signage for the client’s head office.
With numerous stakeholders involved across different locations, the project demands consistent brand application, strict compliance with safety and accessibility standards, and the ability to turn around planned and reactive requests quickly to meet strict SLAs.
OUR SOLUTION
Acting as a trusted, long-term signage partner, we manage Midland Heart’s signage requirements across a broad and varied estate.
Our team liaises with multiple stakeholders to produce and install everything from statutory safety signs and wayfinding systems to marketing signage for new homes, and corporate office graphics.
